Stewardship (Meeting in the Upper Hall)
This class aims to look at the things God’s given us—our money, our health, our time, our skill—and see God’s purposes for them. We’ll look to scripture to see why he gave them to us, how we’re to use them, and the dangers to avoid. God owns everything, and we’re his stewards. Two reasons we need to think about stewardship. First, our money, health, time, and skills are often wrongly assumed to be unrelated to our spiritual life. The second reason is that because we as people are especially vulnerable to idolizing and misusing these things that God’s given us. Our hope for this class is that we’ll learn how to view God’s good gifts through a biblical lens. This will then help us use God’s good gifts in the way He meant for them to be used.
Auditorium - Old Testament Survey Part 1 [The Law & Historical Books]
This is an introductory course to the Old Testament developing a framework for understanding the historical setting, context and biblical themes of each book of the Old Testament. We begin this first stretch with the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible. Course goals include placing the various books in the OT on a timeline relative to the History of Israel, understanding the historical setting of each book, understanding the context of each book: the writer, the recipients and the messages, and understanding the major biblical themes in each book while also identifying unifying themes.
Elementary Kids (4-12yrs) - The Gospel Project
We go through The Gospel Project for Kids. Here is what it’s all about. The Gospel Project for Kids a weekly Bible study that helps kids and preschoolers dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Kids are immersed in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
